Brazil
The Veleiro Orca is partially dismantled, but some parts of the sailboat can still be identified. Its structure supports reef life, with rays among the wreckage and schools of small fish.
In the region, the wrecks off Recife are covered in colorful corals and are home to grunts, squirrelfish, cobia, French and gray angelfish and goliath grouper. For the Recife wrecks, the water tends to be calmer and clearer from September to December, and the good season usually extends until May. In June, July and August, the rains tend to make the sea rough and the visibility poor.
