Brazil
The Leblon underwater trail starts at the rocks on the right-hand corner of the beach and runs to the mouth of the canal. After sewage discharge stopped, the area's marine life recovered, and today there are raias-bico-de-remo. A school of more than 30 of them has been recorded in the Canal do Leblon. On Rio's underwater trails, the clear-water season usually runs from February to April, and the first two months tend to be the best, with calm seas and mild water.
