In 1996, two divers with double cylinders passed two short sumps and reached two galleries of about 50 m. Further on there was another restricted sump, passable only in sidemount, and one of them, after removing the gear to continue on foot, passed out because of the atmosphere. In October 2022, a team of divers passed the first and second sumps and surveyed the section with Mnemo and LIDAR, measuring 154.8 m from the sump entrance, about 10% more in the cave's development. That month, because of the season, the level of the second sump was low enough to pass without diving.
