Saco do Funil lies at the southern tip of Ilha da Vitória and has varied relief, with a flatter rocky area. Ilha da Vitória is home to a traditional caiçara community that lives from artisanal fishing.
On the boat ride to the Vitória archipelago it is common to spot bottlenose dolphins, Bryde's whales and even humpback whales. In Ilhabela, diving tends to be best from December to March, when the winds are calmer.
