Moreré is a small village on Ilha de Boipeba, originally a fishing village. At low tide, several natural pools form around the reefs, with a wide variety of fish. The pools lie offshore and are often visited by floating bars.
There are caves inhabited by marine life, and night dives are also done at the site. On the island, during night dives, rocks forming canyons and caves and the mangrove shelter shrimp, crabs, squid, octopus, moray eels and lobsters. In the region, the weather tends to be sunnier between November and April.
