Ilha Redonda, in the Abrolhos Archipelago, lies west of Ilha Santa Bárbara, separated from it by a channel. Fringing reefs line the island's southeastern coast, and the reefs form a belt around it, home to schools of cioba, guaricemas, frades and lagostas. In Abrolhos, the most recommended time to dive tends to run from December to February, and from December to April the Park's waters tend to be warmer.
