The beach takes its name from the four oceanic islands that can be seen from it: from left to right, Galé, Deserta, Arvoredo and Macuco. On the left side of the beach the sea is calm, with natural pools and snorkeling spots, while the waves at the right-hand end attract surfers. The area is preserved and has a loop trail.
