Brazil
At Praia do Alto, the left corner is the most sheltered, while the far right end is exposed to the wind. At the far right end there is also a freshwater spout. From the beach you can see the Enseada do Iperoig, Praia Vermelha do Norte and Pico do Corcovado.
When the sea is clean, fish of various species and turtles are often seen. After rain, when the sea brings debris from the rocky shore, and on days of heavy swell, the water tends to become murky. In the Ubatuba region, summer is usually named as the best time to dive, with warmer water.
