Praia Deserta (Praia do Deserto)

With no facilities at all, Praia do Deserto is surrounded by native forest and faces Ilha do Mar Virado. Because it lies on the hard-to-reach stretch of the trail, it tends to get few visitors. On this stretch, three beaches sit side by side, separated only by rocks, and Praia do Deserto and Prainha do Deserto are often mistaken for Praia do Cedro (Cedro do Sul). In the Ubatuba region, summer tends to be the best time to dive, with warmer water.
