At Praia Azeda there are colorful fish and turtles. Among the rocks, besides the fish, live many small marine creatures.
The beach lies within the Núcleo Pau-Brasil of the Parque Estadual da Costa do Sol, in Armação dos Búzios. Access is from Praia dos Ossos, on foot along a cobblestone street followed by a short trail, or by water taxi. On this coast, very calm seas and clear water tend to be more common in summer, but even then the water can be cold.
