Brazil
Ponta do Urubu looks like an islet that never quite separated from Ilha de São Sebastião, joined to it by an arm of small stones. In Ilhabela, the water averages around 22 °C and can reach 27 °C from mid-January until the arrival of autumn. In early summer, thermoclines may occasionally occur in the region: bands of extremely cold water in the water column.
