Brazil
Crustaceans and corals are found at Ponta do Siribeira, and on an afternoon in September 2023 a visitor saw several turtles at Pedra do Siribeira. It was on this point that the Siribeira Iate Clube was born, on 18 February 1948, from a gathering of serenading friends and maratimbas, as the natives of the region are called. Wood from the trunk of a felled tree was used to carve the club's name, which marked its entrance. The club's carnival earned a note from a columnist who called it a rival to the best carnivals in the country, and it was this note that brought journalists from Rio and São Paulo and TV Tupi.
