Brazil
Ponta da Figueira lies in the São Pedro neighborhood, northeast of the small Ponta da Sela lighthouse, and has a stretch of submerged rocks next to the sandy bed of the Canal de São Sebastião. Large rays and turtles show up at the site, along with lobsters and moray eels. Batfish are also seen frequently. Ilha de São Sebastião, separated from the mainland by the channel of the same name, is the second-largest sea island in Brazil and holds the largest island remnant of Atlantic Forest.
