Piscinas Naturais de Tassimirim

There are coral reefs along the whole of Praia de Tassimirim, on Ilha de Boipeba. At low tide, the water is trapped between the corals and forms small, calm pools where marine animals are easy to observe. These pools are home to a wide variety of colorful fish, corals and crustaceans. Outings depend on the tide table.

For a better chance of sunshine and crystal-clear water at the beach, the most recommended months tend to be December to March. Across Ilha de Boipeba as a whole, the period from November to April tends to be sunnier, with winds that tend to favor a crystal-clear sea.
