Brazil
At low tide, dozens of natural pools appear along Praia de Sibaúma, some so hidden among the rocks that they resemble natural jacuzzis. In them, with a little luck, you can see lobsters, octopuses and some species of fish, as well as small crustaceans.
Sibaúma grew out of a quilombola community that lived near where the Catu River meets the sea, and developed around artisanal fishing. In the region, the months from September to March tend to be drier, with bluer skies.
