Oratório has large holes where it is possible to see bottom fish and transient fish. Encrusting corals cover the rock, and in one of the holes two large queen angelfish (Holacanthus ciliaris) have been seen. The site offers reasonable shelter from the northeast wind. To the east of the cove lies a high islet with the Buraco do Mero and Arco do Mero sites.
