Brazil
This is a cargo ship of unknown identity. The cargo ship lies in the surf zone of Prainha do Canto Verde, where diving conditions are difficult.
The wreck lies within the Prainha do Canto Verde Extractive Reserve, created by an unnumbered Federal Decree of June 5, 2009. The place is named after one of its first residents, Raimundo Canto Verde, and the neighbors called the place "Praia do Canto Verde". The community first made the news in August 1928, when three fishermen set out on August 24 of that year from the port of Barrinha bound for Belém do Pará. The reserve keeps alive ancestral knowledge of jangada navigation, guided by the stars, the waves, the winds and coastal landmarks such as hills and dunes. The reserve is also an important area for artisanal lobster fishing on the coast of Ceará.
The reserve's seabed has coral reefs and calcareous algae banks. On the reserve's natural reefs, fish of the family Haemulidae, such as Haemulon squamipinna, H. plumieri and H. parra, made up more than half of the recorded fish abundance. On the reserve's artificial reefs, Haemulon aurolineatum, H. parra and H. steindachneri stood out in abundance.
