The Ipesca V was a small Brazilian fishing boat about 12 m long, with an iron and wood hull and a diesel engine, and its armador (ship operator) was IPesca Indústria de Pesca Ltda. It was deliberately sunk by fishermen in 1999. In the Fortaleza region, the best months for diving tend to be January to June, a period with little wind.
