The Titanzinho Wreck is a 1986 iron fishing boat, its real name unknown, that capsized at around 9 a.m. in rough seas and with a poorly distributed load while heading out to set lobster traps. The name comes from a rock wall 4 km away, called Titanzinho because it once held a Titan-brand crane. The boat lies on its port side, with the bow pointing toward the Port of Mucuripe.
To increase marine life, local fishermen placed tires and pieces of metal next to the wreck. The site is rich in reef fish, snook and batfish, and flounders are a characteristic of the spot. Over the sandy bottom pass schools of pompano. On one dive, snook weighing 4 to 6 kg approached the divers, and there were moray eels nearby.
