Brazil
Launched in 1964 in the United States as USS Davidson, an escort ship, she served in the Vietnam War between 1967 and 1975 as artillery support from the sea. In 1989 she passed to the Brazilian Navy as CT Paraíba (D-28), in patrol and escort duties. She was decommissioned in July 2002 and sold at auction as scrap. The wreck was located on 19 February 2005, and its position was shared with the dive centers. Today the 126 m ship is intact and very well preserved, listing between 45° and 50°, with guns, torpedo launcher and helicopter hangar still in place.
