Naufrágio Chuck is a wooden-hulled sailing vessel of unknown identity, found in May 2005 by divers from Rio de Janeiro following tips from a fisherman and a spearfisher. Its nickname comes from a silt-stained plastic doll's head found on the first dive, which brought to mind the Chucky doll. One hypothesis under research is that it is the Brazilian sumaca Malteza, seized and sunk by a British warship off Maricá, and fabrics that were part of the Malteza's cargo have been found on dives. The water over the wreck is influenced by the outflow from Guanabara Bay, and litter coming from the bay accumulates on the wreckage.
