Brazil
Ilhote do Sul gathers varied marine life, and passing schools of jacks and Atlantic spadefish are a common sight. In summer, on the reef to the west, groupers can be seen encircling schools of sardines to feed on them. Around Ilha Anchieta, diving tends to be best from January to April. Being close to the coast, the area is influenced by rivers, and after rain the water tends to turn very dark and full of suspended particles.
