Brazil
Although it is called an island, the site is actually an islet, and its rocky shore is surrounded by sand and has large crevices. It lies 1,350 m from Praia da Serraria, whose few visitors are mostly divers heading to the islet. The place stays quiet and sees divers almost only on holidays and on weekends with calm seas. The Serraria cove is home to a caiçara settlement that lives from fishing and small farm plots. In Ilhabela, the water averages around 22 °C and can reach 27 °C from mid-January until the arrival of autumn.
