Brazil
Ilha Moleques do Norte is made up of two islets and a shoal, all of rock and with no beach to land on, and its rugged relief rises 15 metres above the sea. It joined the list of new dive sites sought along the coast of Florianópolis after the creation of the Arvoredo Marine Biological Reserve restricted diving at Ilha do Arvoredo, at a time when these sites were practically unexplored by the local dive operators. The islet tends to be visited by line fishermen in winter, during the anchova fishing season.
