Brazil
The dive at Corrida do Capitão passes over hard corals and crosses a wide rocky area of Ilha dos Gravatás. The walls of this area are covered in extensive carpets of coral-sol and baba-de-boi.
Ilha dos Gravatás is surrounded by large boulders and crevices, where rays and turtles are frequently found. Moray eels and some fish can also be seen around the island. The marine fauna of Gravatás is smaller than that of Ilha de Âncora.
