Corais de Ondina covers an area of about 200 m² with a rocky bottom, corals and schools of fish, known as the jardins (gardens). When there is a current, the dive usually starts in Ondina and ends drifting near the Cristo, in the Barra neighborhood.
There are passing fish and larger animals such as rays and lobsters, as well as jackfish, wrasses, surgeonfish, angelfish and other typical reef fish. In Salvador, the best months for diving tend to run from September to March, when the sea tends to be calmer.
