Brazil
The Abrolhos Marine National Park opened the trail between February and March 2019: the route is 140 m long, with 14 pins in the sand and cables linking the points of interest. One of the highlights is a cluster of heart-shaped chapeirões known as the Janela do Coração. The chapeirão is formed by calcareous algae with other corals on top, and almost all of the region's corals can be found there along with many sponges, some growing on top of one another. There are also schools of enxadas, raia-manteiga, badejos, garoupas and anemones with juvenile blue camarão-palhaço. In the Park area, from December to April the water tends to be warmer, and this tends to be the best time to dive.
