Brazil
The nickname Caribessa combines Caribe (Caribbean) and Bessa and comes from the turquoise-blue waters, which resemble the Caribbean Sea. The reefs shelter tropical fish, sea urchins and other marine organisms. The Bessa reef also has corals, the zoanthid Protopalythoa variabilis and the presence of sea turtles, which makes it an environmentally sensitive area.
