At Cachoeira No Limite, you swim through a corridor of clear green water between vegetation and rock walls. The river runs through a narrow passage between two huge rock walls, and a torch helps to see the underwater life among the rocks. Besides the corridor, there are other pools for bathing.
It is the first waterfall on the Trilha do Sol circuit, with a natural pool surrounded by vegetation and rock walls. Trilha do Sol is a private property with three waterfalls: No Limite, Cachoeira do Grito and Poço Dourado. A quick detour from the waterfall leads to a viewpoint overlooking the canyon and the river.
In Capitólio, the dry season usually runs from May to September; during this period the level of Lago de Furnas tends to drop, but the water usually becomes clearer.
