Dourados, pacus, piraputangas and piaus are among the several fish species at Balneário Estivado. These fish are used to people and stay close to swimmers. Hundreds of small fish swim around visitors and even eat from their hands. The place is also a wildlife-watching spot, and monkeys such as the bugio and the macaco-prego sometimes appear.
