Maldives
Ziyaarai Thila is a long thila, oriented roughly east to west, in the middle of the wide channel between Himmiya Faru and Ziyaaraiyfushi. In the blue water around it swim large schools of blue fusiliers, bannerfish and barracudas. At the western end, near the outer edge of the atoll, manta rays are usually seen during the north-east monsoon.
