Maldives
The wreck is a small cargo freighter, sunk in 1999, 30 m long and with a hull covered in corals. It has no rich history to tell: it is worth the dive in itself.
The coral-covered hull shelters macro life, such as nudibranchs, scorpionfish, frogfish and shrimps. Glass fish occupy the hold and the superstructure, and a small school of midnight snapper stays on the hull or around the bow, depending on the current. Most of the time the dive is done at night and, with FLUO lights, corals and macro life light up in intense colors.
In North Malé, the northeast monsoon, from December to April, tends to be dry, with calmer seas. In the region, the southwest monsoon, from May to November, tends to bring more rain and less calm seas.
