On the reef tops of Addu you can dive with turtles, napoleons, white and blacktip sharks and the common reef fish. On the outer reefs of Addu, the 2016 El Niño, with its coral bleaching, caused major damage. In the region, the full moon and the new moon tend to bring more big fish.
