Maldives
It is a bulky thila in a wide channel near Velavaru island, with sandy slopes, coral blocks and stony corals. Staghorn and table corals brighten the reef's overhangs. Gobies, blennies, garden eels, sharks, tunas, turtles and large schools of reef fish can be seen. In Dhaalu Atoll, the best time usually is the northeast monsoon, from November to April, with calmer seas.
