Moray eels, shrimps, scorpionfish and sometimes lobsters can be spotted in the reef's small overhangs. Schools of fusiliers, snappers and tunas are frequent. In Dhaalu Atoll, the best time usually is the northeast monsoon, from November to April, with calmer seas.
