Here there is a gentle slope covered in hard corals, with coral blocks on the sandy bottom. There are schools of blue striped snappers, as well as lobsters, stingrays, snappers and turtles. During manta season, reef mantas can be seen. In Raa Atoll, the windier weather of the rainy season (June to November) typically brings large plankton blooms, which attract manta rays.
