Egypt
At Umm Sid, the dive begins through a wide corridor carved into a steeply sloping reef and continues around a large tongue of coral to a sandy slope with garden eels. The reef has a coral garden with giant gorgonians, where small longnose hawkfish can be seen, and a wall with soft corals, anthias and nudibranchs. Lemon gobies also appear on the gorgonians. Turtles, Nembrotha nudibranchs, Napoleons, Red Sea walkmen, giant pufferfish and rays can also be found at the site, and occasionally dolphins.
