Maldives
The Toshi Caves form a rounded, wide corner in the Kudey Kandu channel. A variety of caves adds special dimensions to the site. Large green turtles move between the caves, and there are numerous blotched fantail and feather tail stingrays.
From a distance the reef may appear somewhat grim, but up close there is a wealth of macro life: scorpionfish, stonefish, lionfish, shrimp and crabs. Schooling snappers, long-nosed emperors, jobfish and fusiliers can be found in the shallower parts.
