Egypt
The north side of Torombi Garden has a wall followed by a slope covered in beautiful coral gardens, with a few sand patches. At Ras Torombi there are fields of hard table corals and small lagoons, and turtles, unicorn fish and large triggerfish are residents in the area. Dugongs and turtles live in Torombi bay, and there is a chance to see sea slugs, crocodilefish and stonefish.
The Torombi area has a wilderness feel, with an undeveloped coastline, and often there is only one boat at the spot. Many liveaboards from Port Ghalib stop at Torombi for check dives, to end their diving safari or to visit the resident dugongs.
