Fayrouz House Reef South is the southern section of the Three Corners Fayrouz house reef, which is divided into a north side and a south side. On this side, the dive first follows an arc along the reef edge. After the arc, a large coral garden opens up, stretching from the top of the reef far out into the blue. The south side is home to many different species of coral.
In the coral garden, many schools of fish swim very close to the surface. Besides the ordinary schools of fish of the Red Sea, turtles, rays and the Nembrotha nudibranch appear on the south side. Across the house reef as a whole there are many reef fish, such as butterflyfish, anemonefish and puffers, as well as rays in the sand, and cowtail stingrays are frequently seen in the lagoon.
