Maldives
The site is two long ridges between the islands of Maafahi and Muraidhoo, near the channel that leads to Muraidhoo's port. The ridges are covered in hard coral, and stingrays can be found on the sandy bottom. Turtles are frequent visitors and, with a bit of luck, you might spot devil rays. In Haa Alifu Atoll, manta season typically runs from November to March, and the sea tends to be calmer from the start of December until May, before the monsoon.
