Tears of Allah is a ~30m steel freighter deliberately sunk west of Clifton Pier, New Providence, as a set piece for the 1983 Bond film Never Say Never Again. Nearly upright on sand with a slight port list, the deck sits near 9m and the hull base at 12-14m — shallow enough for a relaxed, no-deco profile. Visibility runs 20-30m with nil-to-weak current. Sponges and coral now cover the structure; expect lobster, moray eels, schooling snapper and grouper, plus occasional reef sharks, rays, or turtles. A torpedo hole blown through the starboard hull for filming is the signature photo op. Boat-only access, usually paired with the nearby Vulcan bomber wreck — an easy, low-stress dive for beginners and a quick second dive on any Bahamas wreck itinerary.
