Maldives
Caves and ledges covered in soft corals shelter colorful fish, and outside them there are large schools of trevally. At the end of the dive it is not rare to see eagle rays, and there are also shrimps and morays in a small canyon. In South Ari, manta rays tend to appear from November to March. In the naming of Maldivian dive sites, 'thila' means an underwater pinnacle.
