Maldives
Talabo means "bald person" in Dhivehi, a name that reflects the site's sparse coral cover. People do not dive there for the corals, which barely exist, but for the fish gathered around the few blocks. Rare porcupine stingrays often rest on the sandy bottom, and nurse sharks sleep on the reef.
