Maldives
Each "pearl", as the coral blocks are called, hosts reef fish, morays, shrimps and nudibranchs. Rays rest on the sand, while jacks and snappers circle the blocks. There are always plenty of schooling fish and hunting tuna, as well as many juvenile fish, damselfish, hawkfish, shrimps and snails among the isolated blocks.
