Egypt
Small pinnacle lies in Lahami Bay, a large bay protected from the weather, with a 1.5 km coral ridge shaped like a banana. The bay's reefs have steep walls, in places nearly vertical, that end in a gently sloping coral sand bottom, where you can lie down and take photos without touching living coral. It hardly ever rains in the region; the Northern summer tends to be very hot, while Christmas and New Year tend to be comfortable even in the water.
