Shams Safaga House Reef lies just a few metres behind the dive centre and is made up of isolated coral blocks on a sandy bottom. Underwater, signs guide divers from the entry point to the two main reefs, and from each of them you can head either left or right.
In the Safaga area, diving tends to go on all year: summer tends to bring the warmest water, and spring and autumn tend to have the most comfortable air. Along this coast, it is the wind that tends to decide which reefs are open in each season.
