Maldives
The name comes from the nearby sandbank, where scantily clad tourists from Maafushi used to come to frolic before the island opened its "Bikini Beach". The wall has overhangs and swim-throughs, and a sandy slope descends into a coral garden. It is a nice site for macro and night dives, with healthy coral and Mobula rays. You can also see octopus, frogfish, lionfish, scorpionfish, midnight snappers, garden eels and nudibranchs. It is usually possible to dive at the site throughout the year.
