The pinnacles of Selimah are covered with soft corals, and the dive also offers nudibranchs. The name of the Abu Galawa Soraya reef means 'little father of the pool'. In the local language, 'Galawa' means pools and 'Abu' means father, and any large reef with pools inside is called 'father of pools'. The Abu Galawa Soraya reef also holds the wreck of an 18-metre American sailboat, said to have sunk sometime in the 1980s.
