Maldives
The gorgonians at this site reach sizes rarely seen elsewhere in the Maldives, and some colonies exceed 2 m across. Clouds of anthias surround the sea fans, hawkfish perch on the branches and damselfish defend their territories.
On the east coast, conditions for diving tend to be best from December to April. The fans are present year-round.
